Mt. St. Helena

From just about anywhere in the Russian River Valley, you can see the Mt. St. Helena, so-named because it appeared to the Russian trappers as a woman sleeping. Although a premier wine-growing appellation, the RRV remains a diverse farming area, still supporting apple orchards, dairies, and hayfields, such as this field adjacent to the Pagnano Vineyard.
